January 2008 - Ivana Gelineo-Albersheim and Trina Saffold have joined the group as Research Co-ordinators for the biosynthesis and biomass characterization teams, respectively.

January 2008 - The Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) has provided funds to allow us to purchase new equipment for our Bioenergy research.

Our new Thermo-Finnigan LTQ XL linear ion trap Mass Spectrometer has been delivered and will be installed within the next few weeks.

March 2008 - Yun Zheng has joined the York group and will be working on develoing NMR techniques to characterize biomass. Maria Pena has also joined BESC (York group) and will be working on Hemicellulose biosynthesis.
